Grace never considered herself beautiful or even remotely pretty. If fact, she barely thinks about it. She goes about her day to day life living in her own world, away from her body. She is always smiling and blushes terribly easily. She could be considered to be like a rose, in both personality and appearance. However, here is for her to tell you how she sees herself. Plain would be a good description. She is so caught up in believing she was an ugly kid that she does not really see that she is actually really pretty.
Her blue eyes are very piercing when she is angry. She tends to purse her lips a lot when she’s thinking and comes across as very unapproachable. Grace likes being somewhat tall, especially if she gets to go kick a Slytherin’s ass out of pure desire to show people that even though she’s in Hufflepuff, it doesn’t mean that she’s pathetic or worthless. Her deepest hate about herself is that her hands are too small. She would love to play piano, but she struggles to due to her short fingers.
That’s only what she tells people. She really hates the fact that her upper body is covered in a large scar. It extends from in between her breasts down to her belly button. It is jagged but over time, it has flattened to a white scar. She never ever wears a bikini nor does she wear revealing clothes. She is really ashamed of it and because of it, her self image has reached rock bottom.

boggart: Her boggart is, like Lupin, the moon. Ever since she was five years old, she had feared the full moon, even though she was only transformed when she was nine. It was a friend of the family that confided in them, telling them he was both a wizard and a werewolf. Grace had been sitting on the staircase at the time, had heard everything, and had had nightmares for years afterward until it happened to her.

The first impression people seem to get with Grace is that she is either shy or unapproachable. The truth is she is both. People are not her strong point and she tends to shy away from the idea of making new friends. She has this aura of inapproachability, as she does not want people to find out the monster she thinks she is. This way she protects her own fragile feelings. She is a very sensitive person and feels emotion very intensely. Thus, this leads her not to let too many people into her life just in case she gets hurt by them.
However, when she gets to know someone she will really give everything for her friend. She is very compassionate and will go out her way for her friends. Nothing is worth losing them over. She is very diplomatic in that sense, as she fears that she may lose the only friends she has if she is too outspoken. She hides her sensitive self well as she does not wish that to be used against her. Thus, she sometimes comes across as abrupt to people she doesn’t know. She is extremely charming when she wants to be, easily winning people over to her side when is needed. If she wasn’t a werewolf, she’d really make friends quite easily. To mask her real emotions, she becomes the entertainer in a group of people, often employing the use of sarcasm. She likes the way she sets up her friendships, as she likes to be in control of situations. She could be viewed as almost a control freak and a perfectionist.
Although she isn’t good with books, Grace thinks about life a lot. She really is an intellectual and entertains herself endless with pondering the meaning of life. She really wants to do well in life but she does not know quite what to do next year when she leaves Hogwarts. She always is happy to spread joy amongst her friends and will always try cheering people up who are sad. Although she tends to be a bit broody, she actually is quite optimistic. She loves her freedom and tends to rebel with anyone who tries to cage her in. The most prominent characteristic of Grace is that she is strange. She has strange tastes in clothing, music and food and never keeps up with the latest trends.

Grace was born to a very liberal muggle family. Her mother was an artist by profession while her father was a psychologist. Because her parents struggled to conceive her, Grace was their only child. They tried again once afterward, but Jillian had a miscarriage and they did not try again. Grace was a happy child, albeit a little strange. because her parents were busy with their lives, they hired a baby sitter, which was an old friend of the family. While Grace herself barely remembers him, he set her life into motion. When she was at home, and he had tucked her into bed, she heard whispering downstairs. Curious, Grace had crept out of bed and sat on the stairwell. She heard her babysitter, who to her parents was a dear friend, tell her family that he was a wizard and a werewolf and could not baby sit during full moon.
Wondering whether this was some kind of sick joke, they did not talk to him for three years after that. Grace was sent to a muggle private school and enjoyed her education as a normal girl. Absolutely charming and very friendly, she made a lot of friends. However, when she was nine, her babysitter was back. The family had forgiven him although they still did not believe him at all. Left alone with him one full moon, to her horror, the man began to change. Terrified she ran screaming but it was too late. He pounced on her and ripped her abdomen open. Her family arrived in time to see the monstrous creature, which fled on their arrival and their gravely injured daughter. A few minutes later, a group of wizards bustled in and healed Grace’s wound however she was doomed to be a werewolf.
Deciding it would be better not to erase the family’s memory, they had them promise they would not tell anyone in the muggle world. They agreed and wolfsbane potion was sent to them every full moon and Grace curled up asleep, a harmless dog. Life continued like this for awhile until she was eleven and got her letter of acceptance to Hogwarts. Her family, very warily agreed to send her and her life as a witch began. She was sorted into Hufflepuff. She felt isolated and ashamed until she met Kay Bowan. The two instantly became friends and have been close ever since. The Regime’s control seemed strange to Grace and she did not like it. However, she is not strong willed enough to join the Rebellion. She wis not sure what she’s going to do when she gets out of school.
