REGIME LAWS : IDEAS NEEDED!

Okay, so after lectures today I decided to geek out, and went to the library. Which section did I go to, I hear you ask? Why Historical Fiction, of course!

So during WWII France was occupied, and the remainder put under the control of Maréchal Pétain. We all know this, right? It's where I got the travel restriction idea from (btw -- might be an idea to have identification cards or something for people who are allowed to travel), but they also had a curfew! No open curtains or shutters after blank o'clock.

La Résistance used the wireless a lot - listening to BBC World was an arrestable offence, which JK borrowed for book 7. Could we have a similar propaganda war? The Regime saying "All is well, and everyone is happy." but The Rebellion (which I keep calling La Résistance in my head now) could be putting out similar... I dunno... leaflets? A radio show? Which would give the man on the street, as it were, an idea that someone out there is fighting the good fight.

To paraphrase Mr Churchill: They shall not fail or falter; they shall not weaken or tire...Give them the tools and they will finish the job.

I may be babbling. I've been awake for 19 hours, and it's beginning to take it's toll.

I certainly like the ideas. Perhaps we should make a seperate account for the wireless communication. Name ideas? They can work over the radio on a specific frequency that Rebellion members need to earn. Similar to the Angels and Demons thing: Clues to the illuminati hide out. Perhaps there can be clues to the Rebellion hideout? Hmmm, maybe we should start a seperate thread from teh Rebellion?

I liek the curfew idea. Perhaps ten o clock? Just so that people don't feel like they're being trapped.

Identification cards? Would that be to travel anywhere or just long distances?
