With a smile on his face, Griflet Abdon, from the township of Lyness on the Island of Hoy (the second largest of the Orkneys) polished a glass. It was the twenty-fifth glass that afternoon. Grif knew this because he had counted. He wanted nothing more than to smash each and every one of them, to watch the highly polished shards dance on the floor of The Hog's Head.
But he couldn't.
He wanted nothing more than to shout and scream and swear at his boss, at the patrons of the grubby little hole he found himself working in. To throw curses and punches equally and without discrimination, just for dirtying one of the glasses he had spent all shift buffing until they gleamed.
But he couldn't.
He wanted, in all honesty, to live in a different time, a different place. Somewhere other than England under the Regime.
But he couldn't.
So instead he smiled, and polished his glass - the twenty-seventh now. He even, to further express his feigned delight in his work (or maybe to drown out the inner voice that was urging him to smash, shout and fight), began whistling a jaunty tune.

Heavy paws padded upon the hard, winter ground. The temperature had dropped drastically. Steam rose from the dark creature’s mouth. Sharp, green eyes assessed her path into Hogsmeade. The apparition checks where too risky, so Tammy spent most of her time travelling as her black panther. Unregistered, the Regime would not be able to track her down. The small village of Hogsmeade was bustling with witches and wizards so it would be unwise for Tammy to second into the throngs. She sat down, just at the edge of the trees like a dark sentry, or perhaps a scout for some sort of enemy. Her form made her feel in control, god like in sense, as she watched over the people with a sort of Omnipotence. Her feline lips curls into a fierce smile which looked more like a threatening growl.
Silently, she stretched then moved off toward the Hog’s Head, away from the masses of people controlled by the Regime. The new rules had begun to make Tammy’s life annoyingly difficult. Apparation was risky, although she did have the guise of Tanya to hide behind. However, it would not be long until they found out her ruse, she assumed. People could not be that stupid, could they? She frowned slightly, her velvet fur crinkling around her eyes. Her connections with Albus had saved her skin, but all she needed was for her sister to pitch up. Although she had a disguise, she was not absolutely sure that Chloe would not see through it. However, her sister in her conceited nature would even throw a glance in her direction, not if there was a mirror nearby, or an attractive man. She pushed the snide thoughts aside as she neared the dingy pub.
She moved toward the door with a silent stealth, leaving large paw prints behind her. She waved her tail angrily, more enjoying the feel of her extended smile. As she pushed the door open, she felt herself move back into a more comfortable form. Her sharp human features felt strange after a prolonged stay as a cat. Her feet paused in the doorway as she looked around, in a cool exacting way. A slight smile of insecurity touched her lips; but only those who knew her would know what the smile meant and even then, they could not also be sure. She sighed softly and moved her way to the bar, regarding the barman curiously. The tune of his whistle greeted her as she had walked in. Surely polishing glasses was not that fun. Gently, she settled herself down, and tucked a rouge strand of black hair behind her ear.

Nalean felt like pulling a face as she walked through the streets of Hogsmeade. She hated wearing the brunette wig, she wasn't used wearing a wig so at the moment if felt foreign and uncomfortable. She forced herself to smile and think Just keep smiling, just keep smiling as she walked passed two men. She was never sure who was regime members as they would often blend in with the crowd and not have any sort of sign that gave away that they were regime members. As she passed the Three Broomsticks she glanced inside, the once popular pub was now almost as empty as the Hog's Head was with the ministry attempting to keep everyone busy to prevent giving them time to think of ways of rebelling against the regime.
She shivered slightly, not from the cold but from the lack of true human emotions. People around her were smiling in a very warm, yet fake manner. Nalean found a majority of these new laws ridiculous. The only one she agreed with was the living in harmony with muggles law, but surely even that one should be common sense. She shook her head, she needed to get to Hog's Head to meet Tammy. She shuffled through the crowded main street in the direction of the Hog's Head. The pub hadn't been a popular hangout when she had attended Hogwarts and it still wasn't. She still wasn't completely sure why Tammy had asked her to come in a disguise for this meeting, so she hurried towards the pub eager to see what Tammy wanted to speak about.
She moved towards the door pushing it open and rubbing her cheeks as she entered the dingy pub, her cheeks hurt from having to fake smile. She paused as she glanced around the room, searching for Tammy. She spotted her sitting by the bar regarding the barman with a curious expression on her face. Nalean then glanced at the barman wondering what Tammy was finding so curious about him. He was fairly young, Nalean guessed that he was about the same age as her older brother Caleb. She soon picked up what Tammy found so curious about him, he was whistling a jaunty tune that seemed to not match the work he was doing. She shook her head and moved towards the bar. She settled herself into the seat next to Tammy. "Hey Tanya, having a good time are you?" she asked Tammy, careful not to use Tammy's real name.

Griflet was working on his thirtieth and final glass for that particular load of washing up, when in walked a customer. His whistling - now to the tune of 'ten green bottles' - slowed for a moment, as his face was his by a cold blast of fresh air from outside. She was to be his third customer of the day, and he again looked at the row of clean glasses, amazed that they needed to have that many in the first place. They didn't exactly do a roaring trade.
He smiled warmly as the young woman sat down at the bar. "Be with you in one moment." he told her, purposfully watering down his broad accent to a level that even the most sothourn of sothourners could usually understand. He resumed his whistling, inspecting the final glass extra carefully before being satisfied with a job half done.
He set it down just as the door opened again, and, with his back to the door, he closed his eyes to stop himself from rolling them. Six more years of this, Grif. the inner voice piped up. Then another seven on top. Is it really worth it? The answer was, of course, a resounding yes. He had to see his sister right, and then he could leave. He'd only be stuck in the same dead end job until he was thirty three.
Thirty three. His whistling faltered, and he opened his eyes again. Fixing his face into another warm, friendly smile, he turned to greet the two customers. "Well now ladies, what can I get you?" he draped the cloth he had been using over his shoulder and leaned casually on the bartop, strained eyes that barely contained a hint of his smile flicking from black hair to blonde.

Unwanted Arrival Nior Le'Rose Raithwall, the newest member of the rebellion but he was ignorant to this factor due to the fact that he did not and would not keep track of the rebellions member for doing such a task is utterly useless in the eyes of Nior. Traversing through the streets of Hogsmeade wrapped and drapped within his black cloak with the cloaks hooded counter-part pulled over and above his head concealing his facial features and appearance with darkness, an element that was perfectly symetrical with Nior's personality. Walking past countless wizards and Witches that are also wandering through Hogsmeade for some reason or another several thoughts, violent thoughts began to manifest into the inner mind of Nior.
"So many wands... some could be the Regime in disguise...Humph, today might be a good day afterall."
As this thought traversed and escaped from his head it soon became clear that Nior did not care if the regime spotted him and compramised his identity in fact he hoped that somehow someway they would compramised his presence in order for him to quickly rid of them one after another. Though it is not his intentions to purposly encounter them, he wouldnt mind if he did. Nior Knew that he was most likely one of the wizards that the Regime wanted to catch due to his violent criminal history that he proudly brags about at times.
He continued to stride through Hogsmeade passing and making physical contact with people from shoulder bumping them not purposly but he felt in his mind that he did not need to move out of the way for those weaker than himself. Nior's eyes would continuously shift his eyes fixing their sight upon many different objects, and people though it could not noticable through his hood.
Due to his "I want power and tough guy" ego it sometimes losses track of his heath, he had walked for years from place to place slaughtering members of the Regime when the moment came, it was rare but at that moment in time he enjoyed it as if it were his last day in this world. He grew thirsty and was suddenly in need of some form a drink. He Stopped in the middle of the street as the person behind him bumped into Nior due to his sudden halt.
The person spoke, it was a male wizard. ""Watch where ya goin' or else." these words escaped the mouth of the man as he continued to walk in front of Nior off into the crowd. At that moment Nior grew an immense urge to kill that man but he knew that he was rather exhausted, thirsty, and hadnt had much sleep lately. He shifted his cloaked body to his left walking through a door to what seems to be the structure of a bar or tavern. He begins to walk towards the bar step by step with the loose ends of his cloak jumping and dragging along the ground. Upon reaching the bar he introduced himself to a seat and placed his elbows upon the surface of the bar as words began to spew from his mouth. "You." He stated refering to the male at the counter that had just ask a couple of ladies what did they want. "Get me a glass of cold water" Nior was rather calm at the moment but his voice sounded dark, and cold. He waited giving the man a chance to answer or respond to his request.

The open abyss of Tammy’s mind rarely had a space just to be. Occupied with foreign thoughts, there was little rest being the battle between Tammy, the leader of a rebellion movement, and Tanya, simple girl with the smallest desire for adventure. She was now here, in the dingy pub away from the reality of the cold warmth emanating from the occupants of Hogsmeade. Soon everyone would begin to filter off into his or her own homes. Tammy wondered if the facade fell in the security of the privacy of their own worlds, or if the fake reality had seeped so deep into their characters so that there was nothing but the desire to follow order. Legions of superficial people were all under the Regime’s control. Now that was a scary thought. Did it mean that they would follow orders blindly or perhaps think before they are ordered to fight like mindless animals? Even animals had some rationality left, making these people seem less than that.
Tammy gazed off into her own world, a curious kind of smile still twitching at the corners of her lips. Nalean should be here shortly, she hoped. The cold was beginning to get to Tammy and she wanted nothing less than to be on her way home. She vaguely heard the touch of the bartender’s voice of the edge of her mind and she nodded slightly in response, her lips curling into a friendly, yet unapproachable smile. Sighing, her eyes flickered to the door in slight annoyance. She hated being visible for so long, yet she knew it was tough to get about these days no matter how good the disguise.
A gust of icy air that wrapped around Tammy’s sense made her quickly look toward the door. A rush of relief filled her when she recognised a brunette version of Nalean. Immediately, the faraway look in her eyes lifted and Tammy filled her senses with the present. She knew she should not fall away so easily to her seductive imagination. It seemed better to live in her head then live in the real world. “Hi,” she greeted softly and slightly warily. “Yes of course.” She winked cheekily then turned, as the bartender seemed to finish working and had asked them what they wanted to drink. Tammy’s hand slipped inside her pocket to see how much change she had on her. It had been risky to go to Gringotts so she only made the trip there occasionally. “Umm,” before she could answer the door swung open and a new arrival, dark and dangerous looking entered.
A deep angry frown touched Tammy’s brow as he spoke. There was nothing that Tammy found more frustrating and annoying then a rude person. She tapped her fingers on the counter impatiently, fighting to keep control of her tongue. “Gees,” Tammy muttered, “manners take people further than blatant discourtesy.” Her eyes glittered angrily as she regarded the dark haired stranger. He obviously was not of the Regime and for once Tammy would not have minded a few Regime aurors coming to reinforce the rules.

Nalean nodded at Tammy's words, "That's good to know" she said and glanced briefly around the bar. She wondered if anyone else was supposed to come, the rebellion would have to soon start moving against the regime in a more open manner if they wanted to overthrow the regime. "So you obviously wanted to meet me for something other than a drink, is everything alright?" she asked attempting to not say anything suspiscious. She really hated how paranoid the regime had become, it was next to impossible just to even have a normal conversation. It really wouldn't surprise her if they came storming in because apparently asking if something is wrong is a threat to the safety of all wizards.
She turned around when the door opened. In strode a dark and dangerous looking stranger. Her first thought was Oh Crap they sent some one after me!, but then she realised that this man looked nothing like the typical regime member. He just looked too evil to be a member of the regime. She couldn't help but shiver slightly, she didn't like the look of this man.
When the man seated himself and basically ordered the barman to get him a glass of water. She smiled to herself as she heard Tammy muttering about manners. She smiled sympathetically at the barman. "Just two butterbeers please" she said and gave Tammy a smile, she desperately hoped that the man had heard Tammy's muttering just for the sake of seeing his reaction. She didn't want a fight to happen, but if the man was smart he wouldn't try and start a fight. That was if he was smart. She wouldn't mind some regime members entering now, just to enforce their pathetic rules on the man

Exhausted Response upon sitting around the bar rather calm for the time being, Nior was still rather tire from previous fighting events no more that days ago. Being a extremely wanted man to the Regime but given his large and tough ego it didnt care nor did it pay it any attention. seconds begin to pass on becoming nothing more than undocumented history. His hooded counter-part that was pulled over his face concealing it within a deep darkness. Nior's ears began to hear sound waves that then shifted themselves into words and traveled into his ears as clear as day.
"Gees, Manners take people further than blatant discourtesy."
As these words escaped the mouth of this woman that also was currently sitting at the bar, Nior grew rather annoyed breaking his streak of calmness. It was something that Nior did not like, people or creatures responding to his actions or words in a seemingly negative fashion. He commenced to move his right hand towards the edges of his Hooded counter part as he began to slowly pull back causing the hood to seem to retract into the shoulder area of his cloak. His real facial appearance could now be seen as clear as day, bearing shaggy short brown hair, and ominous brown/hazel eyes. His eyes were currently closed when he revealed himself.
Some would think that he was rather stupid due to the reality that he was a very wanted man and just recklessly put himself out in the open, but the truth of the matter was that Nior just did not care at all. Unlike other non-regime wizards and witches who hide themselves in disguises in order to sneak around, Nior most times either walks around without his hood even upon his head. He began to slowly ominously open his eyes as if he was extremely weary, he began to slowly turn toward the woman that had referred to Nior. As he looked towards her his eyes seeming to contain much despair, lust, and greed within them. As he glared at this woman he began to to once again close his eyes as his shoulders began to ascend and descend for he started to slightly chuckle at the woman's words.
His eyes now closed he turned his head into a frontal view going back to his normal position waiting for the barman to fetch and give Nior his glass of water.

Griflet's eyes narrowed in the direction of the man that had entered as he placed his order. He looked the newcomer up and down with one raised eyebrow, and turned dismissively back to the two young ladies, a grin lighting up his features. He allowed himself a quiet chuckle at the dark haired customer's response to the abrupt man. "Allow me to demonstrate that for you." he was speaking softly, amused at the air of arrogance exuding from the male customer. This day may have just gotten better.
Throwing another grin at the other man, who was now lowering his hood, he fetched two butterbeers. He had caught the expression in his eyes, a glint that hinted at something less than savoury. "On the house, ladies." He placed the opened bottles on the bar with a cheery wink. "As an apology for the earlier rudeness." he added, glancing at the dark haired gent out of the corner of his eyes.
"And now, sir, what can I get you? I'm afraid I'm a little hard of hearing and missed what you asked for." He said, in his best 'pleasent bartender' voice and with an expression of butter-wouldn't-melt innocence accross his face.

"You'd do well to listen to the lady,"
The slight pop like sound of a human apperating into this small bar had been drowned out by the dark-haired female's voice and a figure clothed in black pants, a black shirt along with a black travelling cloak wrapped around his neck appeared in the midst of the bar, his wand invisible inside his cloak. The figure stood proud, his dark hair falling flawlessly onto his face, a look in his eyes, that at first sight betrayed nothing but politeness, yet a hint of mischeif lay hidden beneath the eyes. Caleb Silverstar's carelessly handsome physique made itself known as he took a step forward to greet the person he was here to see.
The regime had it's way of tracking down people who weren't following rules. Despite secretly being a spy for the Rebellion, Cal had to play his part, in order to keep his job as an auror with the Regime, for not only did he enjoy it- he also needed it, for the cause of the Rebellion. Caleb'd been sent forward to check up on things in the Hogs Head- one of the sensors had been triggered, suggesting that someone was on the pathway of breaking the 'law'. Caleb personally thought of it all as being rather rediculous, but a guy had to do what he had to.
"I apologize for gatecrashing your pub," Caleb added, putting on a fake smile, which really did come across as genuine as he looked over at the bartender. "I promise there won't be any trouble." his eyes flickered over from the Barman to the other tenants of the pub- which at the moment seemed to be two other beautiful ladies. One he recognized to be Tammy De'Ath, Head of the Rebellion. Although, she named herself as Tanya Pauw when out in public, he didn't show any sign of recognition, but merely allowed his gaze to flicker over to the other female in whose company she was.
Is that... If it hadn't been for all the traning these aurors had to go through, the look of horror that was waiting to make itself known on Caleb's face, would've one all but given him away. Is that Nalean?! Cal was fighting a look of outrage and hilarity to take over his face as he hurried to look away. Last time he checked, his sister had beautiful blonde hair. The brown hair looked... almost comical. Honestly, the girl really could do with some friends who could give her some decent fashion advice. He didn't know how on earth she was going to end up attracting any men with hair like that. But on the other hand, looking at it from a Brother's POV, it was better. Less noses to break, incase they somehow ended up hurting her.
He'd talk to her about it later- he had buisness to take care of at the moment. "I've had a trip off saying we weren't exactly playing... nice in here." He whispered, his eyes interlocking with the male who Cal was here to see, as he tried to focus his mind back on his work. "I sure hope that was either a false alarm, or a bit of a mistake? Although, there isn't much room for mistakes. I'm sure you're well aware of that?" Cal raised an eyebrow, and even those his demenor was calm, it was easily detectable that he wasn't to be messed with.

Nalean had been part of Tammy’s desire to fight against the living standards the Regime imposed upon people from day one. She was probably one of the reasons she had actually gone through with the whole idea. Tammy smiled sheepishly at Nalean as she sat there. “Yes, I suppose you could say things are alright relatively,” she said invasively, unsure about whom else was listening and smiled in a wry amusement. This conversation should become fun and if any of them walked out of here knowing, what the other was talking about it would be a miracle. She hated the idea of censorship of free speech, but once again, her own paranoia was getting to her. She really needed a holiday.
It was strange the magnitude of the annoyance Tammy felt. Ready to snap was a good description, or haul out some of that rather facetious humour. Nalean, in true form, had jumped in to save the conversation. Tammy gave a grateful smile. To her surprise, she looked up to find the bartender amused. She could not help but smile back, curious as to see what he would do. She half expected him actually to go fetch the water the rude man had ordered then return to get what Nalean had. Aware that someone was looking at her, Tammy glanced back to regard the strange man lower his hood and give her a look she could almost not decipher. Traces of anguish, despair maybe, touched his eyes along with the burning of sort greed, was it touched lust? As her profession, Tammy easily read people, but in this case, she wished that her almost natural ability was not as attuned as it was. However, showing nothing, Tammy glared back at him, her eyes smouldering with a pent up passion easily directed to righteous anger. She kept her eyes on him, unsure of how to react. She had seen his face before, perhaps on one of those annoying wanted posters.
However, he closed his emotions to her and his laughter took her by surprise. “I’m glad you find my sense of humour amusing,” she tilted her head, and gave a very facetious smile that did not reach her eyes. Her attention was brought back to the pub at the bartender’s voice. She turned, surprised at his offering. “You really don’t have to. That rudeness is not your fault,” she smiled warmly at the man, who she had taken a liking to. He certainly seemed like a nice guy, with a very amusing sense of humour. Tammy could not help but laugh at his next comment, then quickly contain her mirth. She glanced nervously toward the dark man, unsure of how he would react. She was really not looking for a fight today, but hey, what’s a good pub without a good pub brawl?
A voice behind her made her jump and a small gasp left her lips and she quickly turned, wide eyed to the man behind her. Stupid, she cursed herself, now making it clear that something was putting her on edge. Up to no good perhaps. His sudden appearance had completely taken her by surprise and immediately she feared the Regime had come for them. Well she was right on that point, but relief flooded her as she saw it was Caleb. She smiled nervously at the new arrival, her lips twitching between anxiety and fake warmth. Well, that wish had come true, although she was silly to wish for it. She could barely imagine what would happen if it weren’t Caleb. Now that would have been cause for a real pub brawl. Tammy quickly took her attention away from Caleb and quickly focused on her butterbeer. Keeping her senses alert, she waited for the dark man to react. Tucking her hand away in her pocket, she clasped her fingers around her wand. She did not trust things to go well.

Nalean tilted her head as Tammy smiled sheepishly at her. An amused smile touched her lips when she heard Tammy's reply. "Only relatively alright" she said fighting the urge to laugh. She wondered how on earth was the rebellion ever going to get anywhere if all their meetings were going to go like this. This censorship of free speech was becoming rediculous, the regime was becoming so paranoid that they made a bad case of paranoia seem like a light case of anxiety.
She saw that the barman's eyes narrowed in the direction of the man who entered when he demanded his glass of water. She watched the barman curiously when he spoke softly, she wasn't sure if the other man had heard him. She was curious about what he would do. She smiled at him when he place the opened bottles on the bar. "Thank you" she said still smiling. She liked the barman, he had a good sense of humour and seemed to be a genuinely friendly people. Nalean looked at the other man, she didn't like the look he was giving Tammy. It was filled with despair, lust and greed. she wished that Cal was here, she would just feel slightly safer than she did at the moment. She turned away from the direction in which the man was sitting and took a sip of her butterbeer.
As she put her butterbeer down, she heard a popping sound and a familiar voice. She turned around and saw her brother Caleb standing in the middle of the floor. She forced herself to not rush towards him, she reminded herself that at that moment she wasn't Nalean Silverstar. She someone else, she wasn't sure who, but she was some one else. She realised that he didn't know about the wig, she laughed to herself as she wondered what was going through his mind at the sight of her being a brunette.

Temper running short Nior Sitting there at the bar, watching the woman that had started back into his eyes, Nior didnt even feel as if it was worthy to even try and figure out what kind of eyes the woman had. He had just begun to hear a series of words that the woman conjured from her mouth.
“I’m glad you find my sense of humour amusing,”
As these sound waves called words traveled and traverse into the uncovered ears of Nior he simply began to respond the comment this woman had just said to him. But just before he did he opened his eyes once again fixing his brown ominous eyes now shifting from a state of calmness to a state of murderous intent. Nior's eyes began to fix their attention upon the barman that claimed to not have heard the request that Nior had bestowed upon him. words began to escaped the mouthpiece of Nior glaring at the man through his oculars. "Barman would you be so kind as to get me a cold glass of water." Nior showing any form of manner is really rare for he somewhat wanted to keep a low profile for the time being due to his slight exhaustion. The woman that had previously spoken to Nior he finally responded to her in continuation to his water request. "But woman, amusing would not be the right word, it would be more along the lines of annoyance. but as these words spewed from Nior's mouth he did not even look directly towards this woman instead he simply closed his eyes once again awaiting his glass of water.

Griflet smiled benignly at the rude customer, and took the cloth from his shoulder. If he needed to act, he would be freeer to move without the flapping rag in the way. "Certainly, sir. As you asked so nicely." he placed the cloth on the bartop. "Coming right up."
Somehow, he didn't trust the other man's new polite demeanour and was loathe to turn away from him, but in order to do his job, turn away he did. He frowned in annoyance as the other man spoke to the woman who had spoken. How dare he speak to anyone that way? His shoulders tensed, followed by the rest of him as he resisted turning around and serving the man a knuckle sandwich instead of his water.
It was as he was picking up a glass that he heard the 'pop' of an appirition. He looked over his shoulder and instantly relaxed. This wasn't because he was feeling happier about the situation. Far from it. Griflet relaxed around aurors, because a tense man was a suspicious man. He grinned at the newcommer. "Nae bother, Lawman." he said, filling the sparkling glass, "We're alright, aren't we pal?" he set the glass down in front of the rude man, smiling pointedly. He didn't wnat any trouble, and despite the auror's assurances he was sure that trouble was where they were headed.
He leaned back against the wall behind the bar, crossing his ankles casually. Only his arms betrayed him as being anything but relaxed, folded accross his torso in an unconsciously tense gesture.

Cal's eyes flickered from Tammy, to his sister, to the barman- whose comment he chose to overlook for now, seeing this guy here really wasn't getting the message was he? Or was he just stupid enough to overlook the presense of a regime auror? Because, hell, unless Cal was seriously lacking his concentration, this guy here had completely ignored his presense. Literally.
"That wasn't exactly playing nice now was it?" he whispered, leaning his elbow on the bar as his eyes bore deeper into the guys'. "I'm afraid, you're breaking the law sir. Using that tone isn't really allowed- but see, I'm nicer than most of the Regime Aurors around- so you'd do well to improve your mannerism." His voice was warm, yet the look Caleb was giving the male was downright cold. Cal had a lot of respect for Tammy, and he'd hate to see anyone speak to her, or any woman really, in a less than respectful way. Caleb was cocky, mischeivious, and quite patronizing as well, but whatever said and done, his mom'd taught him how to treat women, and this certainly wasn't it.
Cal shifted his eyes away from the man to look over at the barman instead. At first sight, Cal'd completely looked past it- but now that he noticed, that barman's features seemed to becoming more recognizable. As he stared for a couple of moments longer- it clicked inside him. But... it wasn't... it couldn't be... or could it? "Abdon?" Caleb voiced out, narrowing his eyes a bit as if to get a better look. "Oh merlin Griflet Abdon? The hufflepuff I once decided to pick on in my fourth year huh?" A more light and pleasant smile touched Cal's lips. He couldn't believe it.
Cal'd been a slytherin when he was at school- but he'd never really been the same as all the other Slytherins. He was going through a bit of a 'rebellious' stage in his fourth year after the death of his mother, and hence had been taking all the anger that'd built up inside him for his father, on other- more gullible students than him. Abdon here, had unfortunately been one of them. Cal'd jinxed his feet together and hung him upside down in the middle of the Quidditch Pitch - which was then just used as a place for recreation - and Cal'd been caught by one of the teachers, and he'd gotten into major trouble for that one. Especially seeing the Regime was in control then- he had to go through all sorts of Psychiatric sessions for that one - but it didn't affect him in the slightest, he was too block headed due to his anger- good thing that was though, otherwise he really would be a brainwashed Regime puppet right now.
In his Sixth Year, Cal'd made it a point to try to make ammends to all who he'd either hurt or humiliated, (partially because the Regime councillors had forced him to - 'it was the right way forward, peace and equality'.) and at that point he'd found that he could actually get on rather well with Griflet Abdon. They'd never been the best of friends, but they certainly had been friends. Cal couldn't believe that three years after graduating from Hogwarts, the two would be following such different career paths and meet... here. Cal'd always picked the Three Broomsticks over Hogs Head, so he hadn't really had a chance to notice him. "Woah, you've done yourself well haven't you?" Caleb mused with a wink, laughing as he held his hand out to shake Grif's.
"Ah, Griflet, How've you been mate? It's been a while, hasn't it?" Cal grinned at Grif, still in slight disbelief. He was tempted to turn around and explain who the guy was to Nalean and introduce the two, but he couldn't. No one here knew him and Nalean were related- hell, they didn't even know that they knew each other. "Get me butterbeer will ya? I think I may just hang around for a while, y'know- to keep an eye on things, and ah- we can catch up!" Cal smirked as he shot a sidewards glance at the male, besides whom he now sat.
"So, I expect we'll be behaving, yes?" he added quietly, with a second sidewards glance towards the male.
