••• soul meets body
eyes: greyish blue
hair: blonde
height: 5'4
portrayed by: kate bosworth
in-depth appearance: Ricki's got a rather 'angelic' and 'innocent' face. She's one of those people who could only ever be classified as pretty or elegant, nothing more. She never does wear any make up, so she has a sort of natural beauty to her. Ricki's more or less always wearing a pleasant smile on her face (partially due to the regime), and her overall presence comes across as pleasant and welcoming.
She prefers to wear light and bright colours- dark colours don't hold much appeal to her. When she moves, theres always a spring in her step- and pretty much everything about Ricki simply reflects the word 'happy'.
••• dreams are sacred

likes: the rain, being around people, a light atmoshpere, reading (whatever she's allowed to read), playing the acoustic guitar
dislikes: rude people, people opposing the regime, sea food, violence, people who're too quiet
in depth personality:
Two words that describe Ricki : happy and loyal. Ricki's one who genuinely believes that the world would be a much better place if everyone was just civil towards one another. She hates it when people judge others without knowing them, or say unkind things about people or circumstances without knowing the whole story.
She likes to keep her nose out of other peopels buisness, and likes to have others think of her as kind and dependable. Despite the fact that Ricki lives under the Regime's influence, she's still very polite and kind to all who she meets. She's one of those few people who genuinely just wants to do some good in the world, and believes that no one is truly bad or evil- everyone's the same, some people just go the wrong way because of the way they're often treated by others, or influenced by the world around them.
Ricki honestly thinks that under the New Regime, the worlds a much better, and happier place to be. Although, despite the fact that Ricki's all about supporting the New Regime, there's a part of her that finds it a bit too binding. Ricki's a free spirit- she doesn't like being told what to do, unless she believes that what she's being told is the right thing to do. She likes to be independant, and doesn't like relying on other people to help her out, because despite the fact that she only tries to see the good qualities in people, it's only human nature to feel slightly insecure at times. Ricki believes that the Regime is going down the right path, and hence she supports them in their cause- but she hopes to be able to join the Regime one day, and perhaps help edit some of the laws which she finds a bit unfair.
••• a tale to remember
family:
Emma Day (mother)
Kyle Day (father)
Oliver Day (older brother)
Sophie Day (younger sister)
criminal record: none.
in depth history: Ricki was born into a Muggle family, although, all her siblings are also witches and wizards like her. Ricki's the second of three children, and had grown up in an environment where freedom of thought was encouranged beyond belief. Both her parents are authors, hence they'd always encouraged Ricki, Clark and Sophie to read a lot, and they' always encouraged them to believe in their dreams, and do whatever they thought was right, and try to avoid other people influencing her.
Ricki'd always been one who hated too much violence, and despised people who were prejudice, or decided to judge a book by its cover, hence when she came to Hogwarts, fitting in with the New Regime was no problem for Ricki what-so-ever. The New Regime had only been enforced a year before Ricki'd enrolled at Hogwarts, hence everyone else, including her older brother were still getting used to the way things were. Her older brother Oliver was struggling with the new laws, for he was also a free spirited individual like the rest of the Day's, but he wasn't all that big on the whole 'peace' issue. Oliver was all about speaking his mind, and doing what he thought was right- but the New Regime went against that. Oliver had to go through loads of councilling sessions, but that still didn't make much of a difference on him.
Ricki grew up through her years at Hogwarts, to have her loyalties edge towards the side of the Regime, although her brother became a part of the Rebellion. Her younger sister Sophie's still making up her mind, although she is highly influenced by Ricki. Ricki's rather protective when it comes to her younger sister, and she cares a lot for the younger Day.
Ricki did fairly well in her OWLs, passing with mostly E's and perhaps one or two O's. She's quite good at her academics, and aims to do well in her NEWTs too, and join the ministry as a journalist for the Daily Prophet.
