All My Life I've Been Waiting For I've Been Praying For For The People To Say...
...That We Don't Wanna Fight No More There Will Be No More Wars And Our Chuildren Will Play - - - Lily sat down on a bench, stretching out her legs. It was a rather nice day at the park. She took out her sandwich and a few magazines and smiled, letting the sun warm her, well try to. It WAS London. It was a Saturday, which meant no kids, no assignments, and no work, period. She turned the page of the magazine and frowned. These damn fashion magazines are so boring. She turned to the side, her necklaces jingling this way and that way. She sighed and closed her eyes, leaning back and letting the sun warm her pale face.
What day is it? I really should write to mum and dad, she thought, a frown becoming apparent on her face. They're probably worried. I should write to Albus and James as well, let them know they're both rather stupid and it's time to stop this. But they won't listen. They never listen. Lily sighed and took another large bite of her sandwich. She looked down sadly, chewing, wondering what had become of the wizarding world, and her own brothers for that matter. The two had played spies together, and now they can't even be in each other's prescence. She shook her head, reminiscing the days where the two mischievous boys would pick on Lily by pulling her hair and making her cry. Now, she would do anything to have them pick on her, together, once again. She knew her mother wished the same.
She watched as children squealed on the swings, ran around the playground, ate dirt, and shoved it in their noses. She laughed and grabbed a rubber band off of her wrist and tied her hair up into a messy bun. She looked down at her clothing and smiled. She also missed dressing up like this, like a teenager. Teachers had to dress up with sophistication at the school, however, here she could do whatever she wanted with herself. She took another bite of her sandwich. Aprile'd been told to try and keep as underground as possible. It wouldn't do her well to wander the streets, despite the fact that she now had red hair and gleaming green eyes. But staying indoors all day long was literally driving her crazy. The boredom was literally attempting to eat her inside out. She couldn't stand it. She had to get out. Get some fresh air, see some faces... although, she wasn't really accustomed to the expressions they wore.
She caught sight of her reflection as she walked down the streets of london, and it felt so odd... unnatural to see herself this way. Her disguise was thick, seeing she'd dressed herself in muggle clothes, and had, for once, tied her hair up into a neat high pony tail. This wasn't what she was used to, but none the less, that was what this was all about wasn't it? Change. Getting used to change. Fighting the New Regime.
Her eyes fell on muggles, laughing freely, speaking as they wished. Nothing stopping them from feeling what they wanted. She sighed, as guilt began to build up in the pit of her stomach once more. She'd been trying to avoid the guilt for too long, but every time she caught sight of something that reminded her of... of the devastation she'd helped cause amongst the wizarding community, it only added on to the guilt. Hardly anything made her feel better now a days.
She ignored the thought and continued to walk, now was not the time to dwell on her worries- it wouldn't do her good. She sighed, the hospital wasn't too far from where she was at the moment, so she was in her buffer zone. There was a huge, famous park, where many muggles liked to enjoy themselves, and Aprile'd decided that that'd perhaps be a safe place to wander around while she tried to stop herself from going insane. Her eyes dropped on her clothing, and she couldn't help but feel slightly proud due to how well she'd managed to dress. She was clothed in some faded blue jeans, and a full sleved white shirt. A scarf was wrapped around her neck, and her wand was tucked away carefully in her brown boots.
She bit back a smile. At least that was one thing she'd gotten right in the past few days! She laughed at herself internally as she continued to walk, her eyes wandering around the park as she tried to get used to the way the people were. How happy, and free they were. As she walked further down, her eyes fell on a female with red hair, and peircing green eyes. Green eyes that Aprile would know anywhere. Albus' eyes. Aprile halted in her steps as she took in the girl's appearance. She'd never officially been introduced to any of Albus' siblings, seeing Albus wasn't really in much contact with them anymore. Although, she did remember this girl back at Hogwarts.
Aprile tried to match the image of the young girl that she remembered, to this grown, pretty girl who sat on a bench surrounded by muggles, eating a sandwhich. Aprile couldn't help it. She walked in the girl's direction, feeling an emotion that was forbidden for all, while she belonged to the regime; curiosity. Aprile pondered over Lily Potter for a second, contemplating wether she really ought to go and speak to the female, before she made up her mind on going ahead. Acting on impulses was human nature- something that Aprile hadn't done for a while though. And if she wanted to get any closer to becoming... an individual again, she had to learn how to be free once more.
"Hello," she said, her voice clear, as she sat herself without invitation (again, another sign of 'recovery') besides Lily. "I hope i'm not disturbing you."

Lily looked around, staring at the kids once again before her eye caught a young woman staring at her. Lily knitted her eyebrows together, wondering why she was staring at her. The woman began to walk towards her once rather confidently and Lily tried to rack her brains, wondering if she knew this woman. Surely, the woman knew her if she was walking with such a brave intent. "Hello," she said as she sat down next to Lily without an invitation. "I hope I'm not disturbing you." Lily smiled softly. "Oh, you're not disturbing me at all. It's a rather boring Saturday, in fact." Lily said with a cheeky grin. She stared at the young girl intently. She knew her, she could feel it deep within her bones. No, she did not. With such bright red hair Lily could have sworn the girl was a relative of the Weasley's, but that was impossible. Lily knew every single Weasley alive, and this girl was definately not one of them. Lily leaned back and looked around once again, putting her hand to her pocket and she took out her cell phone. That was muggle like yes? Most muggles nowadays could not keep off their cell phones. She felt the awkward silence had pursued long enough, so she turned back to the mysterious red head. "So, what brings you to the most boring park in London on such a fine Saturday?" Lily asked, grinning at the barely sun filled sky. It was getting much more chilly and Lily shivered, pulling her jacket around her closer. The sun began to appear once again, only for it to disappear behind some other clouds. Memories flitted in and out of Lily's mind, weaving their way through her brain. "JUST STAY AWAY FROM ME JAMES! I'LL f**kING KILL YOU!" Albus warned, sweat dripping down his forehead, panting with his wand out. James rolled his eyes. "Shut up Albus. Just put you're wand away." "Not until you APOLOGIZE!" "Al, please, put your wand away," the young Lily cooed, trying to clam her brother down. "No Lily, no! Tell him to apologize, now." Albus' commanding voice sent shivers down her spine so she turned to James. "Jay, please apologize to him. Please," the red head pleaded. James smirked. "The ministry... is what we need." Albus scowled as James walked away. "Don't walk away from me James! Sectemsempra!" "JAMES!"Lily looked down at her twiddling thumbs as her screaming voice faded away and sighed. Messy, messy memories, she thought with a frown. She suddenly remembered the stranger next to her. She put on a fake smile and looked up. Lily was always good at faking things. "Oh I'm sorry. I blanked out. What were you saying?" Lily hoped that the girl had been talking, or else another awkward silence would have pursued.

Aprile gazed curiously and rather intently at Lily Potter as she seemed to blank out it seemed. Aprile was only two years younger than Albus, hence she remembered the Potters while she was at Hogwarts. Aprile didn't know any of the Potters personally while she was at Hogwarts, but everyone knew them due to their famous presents. The Potters were the celebrities while Aprile was at Hogwarts. Everyone knew them, and the Weasleys. But unlike most of the Potters and Weasley's, Aprile was a Ravenclaw, although, she did remember Albus being... different. Being in Slytherin. Her eyes wandered over Lily's features as she made the connection between Lily and Albus.
Even though their hair colour was different, their features were so similar. Aprile sighed, she knew Albus didn't speak to any of his siblings, and it did upset him, she could sense it, even though he tried to put up a front. She knew deep down he cared for them. She bit her bottom lip and looked at Lily. "No, I wasn't really saying anything..." she replied formally. "And I just felt like coming out for a walk... I was... bored at home. Although, I wouldn't call this park boring... mug- I mean, people... can be quite facinating" That was a fairly normal response, right? Sure it was. Except her little near-slip-up. How could I be so careless?! Aprile scolded herself. Normally, when talking to muggles, she'd never ever slip up- but Lily Potter wasn't a muggle. And Aprile knew that- and perhaps that made her feel less... on guard. Aprile sighed, before she allowed a small smile to play on her lips as she moved her gaze away from Lily Potter. Mistakes. She was making mistakes. More progress. "How about you? What brings you out here?" she added casually, hoping that Lily didn't catch her little mistake. She licked her lips as she turned around to look back at the now fellow red-head. "Wouldn't you rather be with... family, or siblings or friends.. on such a nice day?" Aprile mused. Truth be told, she was curious to find out Lily's side of the story... to see if it hurt her as much as it did Albus. Oh, i'm being silly- why would she speak to me about that? Aprile sighed, it was worth a try- yet her chances of getting the reply that she wanted were very slim.[/blockquote]

"Oh, it's just that I blank out a lot. I get it from my dad," Lily said chuckling a bit. She paused and stared at the girl next to her. Did she just mean to say muggle? Lily rolled her eyes at herself. Of course not! She's a muggle herself. "I guess so, but when you live across this park, it begins to become rather tedious to watch these people."
"Nothing really, just bored on a Saturday. I have a rather lonely life," Lily smiled. "Not to sound like an old bat, but it's what happens when you want independence and you're not prepared for it. I grew up with such a large 'family', being my parents friends and their cousins and somehow we were all related. I hated it when I was younger, but now I miss it." Lily paused and looked down. Should she tell this stranger? Lily needed a talk with someone, and this girl was just a random stranger, she wouldn't understand... would she? Lily laughed. "Everyone I want to be with is eight years old. I teach second grade."
"You know, it's funny. I haven't spoken to my family for quite a while. I was actually debating on leaving to go write them a letter, but decided to do that later on."

Aprile gazed with a hint of curiosity dwelling in her eyes. She tilted her head to one side and absent mindedly began fiddling with her hair. Aprile couldn't understand why Albus no longer spoke to Lily- she wasn't by any means a bad person. April wasn't a believer in first impressions, but Lily had certainly left an amazing impression on her. Aprile bit her bottom lip for a moment and allowed her mind to wander around for a second, before she returned her attention back to Lily.
"Yes, i'm sure they'd love to hear from you." Aprile commented, nodding in agreement, a pleasant smile spreading across her lips. "If you don't mind me asking... who would you write to? Parents?... Siblings?" Aprile pushed slightly, wondering wether Lily would really write to Albus... and if she would, Aprile couldn't help but wonder if Albus would ever reply? He was very stubborn and determined... but Aprile knew that he still cared for his siblings. "I'd love to hear from family, if it were me." she inserted quietly, hoping that Lily would act upon her words, and really write to Albus.[/blockquote]
