Nalean sighed softly to herself as the lecturer told the class they were to write their first semester test the next week. That meant that she would have to start studying basically straight away. She frowned as she put her books back in her bag, she had missed out on the advantage of having a basic knowledge of the subject as she wasn't from a muggle family. She couldn't exactly go to her lecturer and tell him that she was struggling to get the subject because she wasn't a muggle like him but a witch, he would probably stare at her as though she was crazy and have her locked in a muggle psychiatric hospital.
She was still frowning to herself as she walked out the lecture hall. It had been a huge leap from Hogwarts to muggle university due to the different subjects and the different marking system. She had found out that in the muggle world an E was a bad mark and an A was infact a brilliant mark. She shook her head, the marking system was still strange to her even though Tammy had explained it to her a few times.
She walked to her bike, unlocked it and then set off in the direction of Starbucks, she needed coffee before she started studying. She smiled as she thought of the last time she had been at Starbucks. The rebellion meeting had actually gone alot better than what she had expected, although many of the rebellion members had been surprised by the fact that they had an auror among them. She smiled to herself as she remembered the looks on their faces as they had entered and had seen Caleb. Just seeing the look on their faces had been pretty entertaining.
She stopped her bike outside of Starbucks, chained it to a lamppost and walked inside the popular coffee shop. She took a deep breath as she walked towards the line. A small frown appeared on her face as she tried to decide what she should order. When she reached the counter she had decided on a cuppachino with foam. She paid for it and then walked to an empty table, put her bag down and sat down. She positioned her bag so that it was under her feet. She sat sipping her coffee her mind drifting back to her classes. Not only did she need to study for that test but she also had a paper due the next week on the Russian Revolution for her history class. She sighed softly to herself, her workload was steadily increasing and she was worried that she might not have enough time for the rebellion. Well Tammy only had herself to blame for that one, it had been her idea that Nalean study until she could figure out what career she wanted to follow.

Starbucks. Hands dwn the best muggle beverage place. Cal was once again making his way into his favourite coffee shop, which wasn't too far away from the Leaky Cauldron.
Cal was clothed in some blue jeans, a white t-shirt, with a checked blue and white buttondown shirt on top. It was one of his favourite muggle fashions- including hoods. Cal always thought of hoods as a sort of upgraded version of cloaks. He found the cloaks trailing behind him a bit too annoying at times, because when moving with speed, it wa quite easy to trip over, or stumble over the cloth that continued to follow you around like your shadow. He sighed at the thought of cloaks, and how bizzare it would look if he decided to walk down a muggle street in his wizard attire. Unless ofcourse it was the day / eve of / after halloween. Everything was acceptable then.
He laughed internally at the thought, before pushing the Starbucks door open and entering, ducking slightly, seeing his 6 ft. 3 self couldn't fit through the tiny door without banging his head if he decided to walk in whilst maintaining a straight posture. The cafe wasn't too crowded yet, but he assumed that was because most of the muggle schools had only just about ended. He shrugged the thought off and walked further into the cafe, stopping at the till as he ordered himself a strawberry and cream frappuccino. He loved those things too. He'd tried chocolate and caramel with cream as well, but chocolate was too sweet, and caramel just wasn't his flavour.
He smiled at the lady who passed him his drink, muttering a 'thanks' in her direction as he spun around on his feet, looking for a place to sit. He wasn't needed at the ministry at the moment- so may as well just hang around these muggles for a while. They were quite entertaining. And the Regime absolutely loved it when wizards mingled with muggles. As his eyes skimmed the room, he caught sight of curly blonde hair. Blonde hair that he really really did not want to see!
He sighed dramatically, as he started to move in his sisters direction, and before she could realize that he was there, he placed his drink on the table where she sat working with a rather audible thump, and sat down without an invitation. "Is all this muggle education really making you forget that you're a witch?!" he hissed, a playful smirk lingering on his lips, as a look of mock disappointment crept its way onto his face. "Where is your wig?!" his words were quiet enough to make sure that no one but Nalean could hear him.

Nalean tapped on the cup with her fingers as she tried to figure out how she was going to get through the next week and still fit sleep in as well. She was sure that she had not had this amount of work when she had been at Hogwarts, or maybe she had it was just that she had had a background knowledge on the work. The only subject which she did have some sort of background knowledge was english.
She was still deep in thought when Caleb appeared. She jumped slightly at a loud thump, frowning slightly when she saw that it was just Caleb. She let out an irritated sigh, "No I just came here for the coffee. Don't you have a job anymore Cal? or are you just stalking me?" she asked her brother with an innocent look on her face. "Cause you do realise that according to muggle laws stalking is a crime" she added keeping the innocent look on her face.
She rolled her eyes at his question about where the wig was. "My wig is probably on holiday in Jamaica or something. Besides why do I have to wear it? no one actually did tell me why I have to wear it" she asked curiously. She had just suddenly been told one day by Tammy to start wearing a wig when she was outside, no one had actually told her why. She really didn't see the point of the wig, to her it was nothing more than an irritation. Although Tammy and Cal made a big deal out of the fact that she had to wear it.

Cal rolled his eyes at his sister, kicking her knee lightly under the table as he leaned back in his chair, a mischevious grin spreading across his lips as he raised his frappuccino to his lips taking a long sip as he tried to to laugh at her. He managed to hold a straight face for a couple of moments, before he partially began to choke on his drink and had to cover his mouth with the back of his hand as he tried to muffle up his laughter. His sister was so naive. Or so he thought of her anyway. He watched her for a moment or two more, before shaking his head and sighing.
"My dear, dear, stupid little dear sister," he mused, grinning at her as he continued, "You work as the assistant to the head." - of the Rebellion. The words needen't be said, for they were fairly obvious. "You need to wear the wig in order to make sure that you can step out of your house and not be killed." Caleb rolled his eyes- Nalean didn't quite realize just how dangerous things could get. Caleb had been involved in many cases when they had to round up people who were going against the new regime, and hold trials for them- watching them being taken into azkaban via the dementors was just... the worst feeling ever. Cal tried not to think much of the memory, it gave him goosebumps every time.
"The ministry is extremely well informed, and as far as i'm aware, no one knows of your involvement, but if they did, you wouldn't be able to breathe so freely Leana." Cal's tone had changed from jokey to concerned. He cared a lot for his sister- he felt like he had to take their fathers place in her life, and give her someone better to look up to, to turn to when she needed it. He had to care for her, he couldn't bare to loose another member of the family- she was the only person he was close to anymore. Cal sighed, biting his lip. "You better come up with a name for either your blonde or brunette self too Leana. Using the same name does all but give you away." he added with a slightly disappointed sigh, taking another sip of his drink.

Nalean glared at Cal when he kicked her on her knee lightly under the table. "And that's assault, you're lucky I like you or I might actually have laid a complaint with the local muggle police" she said grinning to show him that she wasn't being serious. She hoped that Cal didn't think she was being serious, he sometimes misunderstood her jokes and thought she was being serious when she was just joking with him.
She sighed at Cal's words, she hated to admit it but he was right about the regime. She had heard about the way they treated witches and wizards who were suspected of opposing the new regime, sometimes she wondered how Cal could put up with it and not be able to do anything about it. She bit her lip as she remembered seeing some one arrested in Hogsmeade when she had still been a student at Hogwarts, the wizard had looked terrified about his fate. She wondered if he had done anything that could really be seen as opposing the new regime apart from not smiling at the right moment.
"Well I can't breath freely without them knowing about my involvement" she said. "You know how paranoid they are, it's easier moving in the muggle world than anywhere in the wizarding world" she said softly. She chewed the inside of her cheek, she knew why Cal was so overprotective over her. Since their mother had died he had become extremely overprotective of her, she was glad that she at least had Cal. Apart from him it sometimes seemed that no one in their family really cared about her. She grinned at his next few words, "I guess I can go under the name which I registered under at the university" she said. "I registered under the name Leanne Smith since Nalean isn't a name muggles would have heard of" she explained shrugging.
